Four Leaf Clover

Have you ever heard someone say that they are going green because it is "right" thing to do? When you ask them exactly what the "right" thing is, remember that "a good thing for the environment." Consultant green life, and I 'm all for being good for the environment, but what I noticed in the field of consulting sustainability we have is that "being good for the environment" does not translate well to cut the concrete and practical information that people can use in their daily lives. Statement: "It is good for the environment" is just a very large, very conceptual, and that means different things to different people, and it lacks customization.
So, what is good for the environment really mean? Sustainability in our personal, and we break it down to a personal level. Thus, it is easy to connect the dots between the work of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and environmental benefits associated with them. The result? Clear to see why and how that work is good for the environment compared to the overall statement is empty.
Let's take the feast of St. Patrick as an example. How can we translate the concept of being good for the environment in the physical, and environmental behavior permanently? Let's take a look at all the clover 4 leaf clover looks a concept of sustainability shift.
Hope: Hope is the belief in a positive outcome related to events and circumstances in the life of the individual. With the saturation of the media through negative today, it's easy to overlook the good things in the future. Identify areas in life or work or personal life that have environmental impact and you are also willing to change and improve. Will look at the paper at home or in your office, and improve air quality may or may start recycling. These changes should not be difficult or burdensome, creating expectations of a smooth transition by hope. Hope for good things to come in your work, life, and for the environment.
Faith: Faith is the belief of confidence in the sincerity or trustworthiness of a person, idea, or something. Focus your attention with the expectation of a positive result. Stretch your imagination and take the necessary action. If you start a program and paper or a program of energy efficiency as part of your sustainability plan, and then start looking for savings on a monthly basis, quarterly. Intangible benefits that are not easily measured and may be the first user to take action on the basis of faith: improved staff morale, and impressions of stakeholders, the changing of the best members, neighbors or family to feel good about taking environmental actions.
Love: The Search for appreciation in what they do in your life and your business. Have you noticed that the focus on the expansion? Why do not appreciate the work well done? Share and communicate in your community. Companies to extend the supply line to customers and suppliers. Love of your life, your job, love our planet.
Luck: Create your own pot of gold. Actions we take today create tomorrow we have. Investment in the concepts of sustainability in your business and your life for a better tomorrow: reducing waste, energy efficiency, recycling programs, water conservation, community involvement and corporate practices of sustainable living sustainable living and investing in socially responsible investing.
Throughout my career consulting, I have found the holidays to be a great way to integrate the concepts of sustainability not only in your life, but also in the lives of others. Holiday Happy St. Patrick's to you!
